Points and Coal Tar

27042007 007I’ve been collecting Tesco points like my life depended on it lately and have basically moved any service I can to Tesco. This includes the home phone line, Car Insurance, Payment Card, Car Breakdown and Savings Account (Which has nothing in at the moment).

The Idea being that I can save up clubcard vouchers for a Holiday or day out somewhere. Well I had a look at my points balance online this evening, Seems I have 7842 points! What that converts to in Vouchers I have no idea, But it looks like someone might be going on holiday soon! 🙂 Oh and if anyone needs some baby food and nappies do give me a shout, I got a load of extra Points vouchers from Tesco as I joined their baby club for em.. Managed to get myself an extra 1200 points, which are not included in the above balance, for a £9.00 spend (I’m obsessed).

01052007041I’ve spent most of today at the Hospital after being referred there because my Psoriasis has flared up quite badly. The nurse woman seems to think its also something else as well as Psoriasis so have had Skin scrapings done from various parts of my body to be sent away to “grow”. Should get the results in 6-8 weeks. In the mean time I have been given a Zinc & Coal Tar paste which I’m to have on my arms and legs for 22 hours a day (!), So I will be covered in Bandages, (I’ve been precribed 50 meteres of each of the 2 sizes i need, Thats a lot of bandage!), all day. This means I need to ask/beg work for a couple of extra shirts which are long sleeve as I don’t fancy twenty questions on the bus as to why I’m all bandaged up. Gotta go back in a fortnight to see how I’m doing.


Shake me and I Rattle

Not updated in a few days as I’ve not been able to sit at the PC. My Psoriasis has flared up big time and I’m sore all over. Infact my skin is hurting as I type this.

Been to see specialist at Hospital and I’m now on 4 different tablets and 6 different creams for various parts of the body lol. If this dosen’t calm it down then it’s off to hospital we go, This will be there fifth time in 9 years…. Not Good!! And worst of all, I still have to goto work as I don’t get sick pay and can’t afford any time off. 🙁


Clubcard Challenge

o2 3G…AOL…Being Lazy & IVA's

Are there any o2 experts out there?

Ever since I switched over to o2’s 3G service I’ve stopped getting Delivery Reports when I send an SMS… and this I find really annoying as it’s a handy way of finding out if people are ignoring me lol (Not that I’m paranoid or anything!).

Well I finally got a date for moving over to Route 183 which is the 3rd March. Work will be so much more relaxing than the route I’m on at the moment…. All I need now is a new image for the top of the blog.

Why do I seem to have such trouble trying to convince people that I know on AOL to start using MSN Messenger?! Have they been brainwashed my AOL into thinking that is is evil or something?? They just don’t seem to be able to grasp the simple fact that it it far superior than AOL Instant Messaging system! The reason I’m trying to get people to switchover is because I’m shutting my AOL account down (well I deleted the software off my PC a number of weeks ago and have stopped using the email addresses) as I think the whole service has gone downhill very rapidly. I guess I’m just gonna have to work on these people harder.. Perhaps they just don’t wanna talk anymore LOL.

I’ve had a week off this week and have done barely anything with it, and you know, It felt great! Not too sure what’s wrong with me lately. When I get home from work I just don’t want to do anything apart from watch TV n then goto bed. It’s been going on for a few weeks now, Will have to keep an eye on it and see a doctor if it carries on.

A long long time ago I blogged about my IVA payments may be rising because of my (then) new job. Well it was all sorted a few weeks ago, after a small scare of it rising from £275 to £405 a month, It was finally decided that it would stay at £275 for the time being and would only rise, by a very small amount, if and when I have my next pay rise, So that was some good news. It means I can now carry on saving a small amount each week for a holiday this year, The first in 7 years!

Time for a rant…

I am sick and Tired of people parking whereever they feel like it when they pick up their little darlings, Most of them seem to have no understanding of what the yellow lines mean and cause the whole road to come to a standstill.

I’ve written to the My local councillor who also happens to be the Mayor of MK. He has replied and said that there is to be some remodelling of the street but I still don’t think it’s going to work.

On a plus side he has seen my new website (www.guide2mk.co.uk) and is going to email me directly with any news that he feels is relevant, which is quite handy 🙂
