Leighton Road in Heath & Reach

From Monday 12th July until Friday 16th July, between 0900 and 1530 only, Leighton Road in Heath & reach will be closed for road resurfacing between Eastern Way and Shenley Hill Road.

Service 150 will therefore during these times be required to divert away from Heath Road, LB as well as Leighton Road and Birds Hill in Heath & Reach, thereby missing all bus s tops on this stretch of road, including the main stops in Birds Hill, H&R.

The diversion route will be n/b from Church Street bear left into Plantation Road and carry on along this road until the crossroads and turn right into Linslade Road, then left into Woburn Road and line of route. From MK the diversion is the reverse of the outward.

Care should be taken in Plantation Road and Linslade Road of low overhanging trees and use of double deckers should be avoided where possible.

Edlesborough carnival and Eaton Bray carnival

Carnival 2006 Carnival 2006

Due to Edlesborough carnival and Eaton Bray carnival, both being held on Saturday 3rd July, there will be a substantial diversion required on service 61 from roughly 1000 until 1500.

During these times service 61 will be unable to serve Edlesborough, Eaton Bray and part of Totternhoe. From Aylesbury, at the Travellers Rest roundabout buses will proceed straight ahead and then turn left at the next roundabout into Harling Road, then taking the second right into Dunstable Road which becomes Church Road. At the end turn right onto normal route at Totternhoe Church End corner. Coming from Luton the diversion is the opposite of the way out.

Journeys required to divert are the 0930 to 1330 ex Aylesbury inclusive; and the 0925 to 1325 ex Luton inclusive.

Note the Edlesborough carnival only blocks the route for an hour but there is no suitable diversion that allows us to serve Edlesborough but not Eaton Bray at other times owing to Moor End Green being closed for 5 hours.

Sunday 27th June 10 km road race Thame

There are some road closures in Thame this coming Sunday due a 10km road race.

However delays may occur due to onlookers etc.

Woughton Carnival Milton keynes

carnival 2008

Due to Woughton Carnival, part of V7, Saxon Street, will be closed for approximately 30 minutes. Unfortunately we do not have a time for this and all we know is the parade commences in Netherfield at noon.

Thus it is possible that service 150, 1115 & 1215 ex Aylesbury; 1250 ex MK rail Station may need to divert.

The diversion will be n/b right off Saxon Street onto Groveway; left into Marlborough Street then ahead onto normal route.

Diversion s/b would be to keep straight on along Marlborough Street, then right onto Groveway and left back into Saxon Street and normal route.
